He joined the north London club in the summer of last year from Middlesbrough and struggled to establish himself in the Premier League.

This season he has joined Championship side Leeds United on a season-long loan from Spurs but he has played only nine minutes of Championship football so far.

He suffered a knee injury in September and the Whites’ boss has set a timeframe for Spence’s return from injury.

Farke revealed that Spence is yet to be back in first team training and he will be only available for selection after the international break later this month.

“Yes, Djed Spence is not in team training at the moment”, Farke said in a press conference when he was asked about Spence’s injury situation.

“We expect him to be back in the next seven to 14 days.

“So, he will not be involved in any game before the international break.

“But we expect him to be back on the other side of the international break.”

Spence will also be looking to get back as soon as possible to impress his parent club and Farke with his performances.
