The Whites had a difficult summer, which affected their start to the season when they struggled to get any consistency going.

Several players left following relegation from the Premier League but Leeds managed to hold on to a few stars before making vital additions to the squad towards the end of the summer transfer window.

They now look a cohesive unit under Daniel Farke and are sitting third in the Championship standings.

Summerville acknowledged that the start of the season was affected by the transfer window and there was a certain lack of clarity.

But he insisted that everyone is now reading from the same hymn sheet and pulling together towards the goal of getting back to the Premier League.

The Leeds winger said on LUTV: “I think it was a difficult start because we were in the middle of the transfer window.

“Everything wasn’t clear but everyone has got the same mindset now.

“We are in the same place, the right mindset, everyone is saying one line so I feel connected together now.

“We have only got one vision – returning to the Premier League.”

A win over Leicester City away from home last week further burnished Leeds’ credentials of being promotion contenders this season.
