The 16-year-old forward came through Bray Academy and joined Irish outfit St. Patrick’s Athletic in the summer of 2022.
Melia has featured 13 times for St. Patrick’s in all competitions so far and the 16-year-old has managed to find the back of the net three times.
His performances have caught the attention of several clubs in Europe and in August, he had a trial with Manchester City.
It is suggested that Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in acquiring the signature of Melia.
And now it has been claimed that Crystal Palace are also tracking the progress of Irish forward Melia.
However, Manchester United and Crystal Palace have to wait to sign the youngster until he turns 18 due to European Union laws, but both Premier League outfits could agree to a pre-contract with Melia.
Now it remains to be seen whether Manchester United or Crystal Palace will be able to bring Melia to the Premier League in the future.
