Besiktas are set to hand former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst a one-and-a-half year contract worth €1.3m, it has been claimed in Turkey.
The Dutch manager has been without a job since leaving Rangers in November 2022.
However, he is close to finding a new home, this time in Turkey where Besiktas are keen on having him as their new manager.
The club have parted ways with as many as three managers already this season and are set to find a fourth one soon.
They had been linked with a move for former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær but it now seems that it will be a different option.
According to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, Van Bronckhorst, whose appointment is set to be confirmed soon, will be handed a one-and-a-half-year contract.
He is set to earn €1.3m from the proposed move.
Van Bronckhorst though is facing difficulties in taking his preferred assistant Jean-Paul van Gastel with him to Besiktas.
