Dundee, St Mirren and Motherwell could all scrap for the signature of striker Curtis Main this month, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Main is looking to return from a spell playing his football in India, where he is on the books at Indian Super League side Bengaluru.

The 31-year-old is likely to have takers in Scotland, where three Scottish Premiership sides are interested.

Two of his former clubs in the shape of St Mirren and Motherwell are keen to once again be able to call upon his services.

There is also interest from Dundee in the striker.

Main swapped St Mirren for Bengaluru last summer, putting pen to paper to a year-long deal with an option for a further year.

He has made ten appearances for Bengaluru in the Indian Super League this season, hitting the back of the net twice.

Main boasts significant Scottish Premiership experience, with a total of 133 outings in the Scottish top flight for a return of 21 goals.
