Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ramon Vega has urged Spurs to hurry up and sign Radu Dragusin before Bayern Munich do.

Tottenham have been holding talks with Italian side Genoa in a bid to strike a deal for the Romania international centre-back.

They do not have an agreement yet though, with Genoa demanding a guaranteed €30m from selling the defender.

There is now a risk that Tottenham could see their swoop hijacked as German heavyweights Bayern Munich want Dragusin.

Vega thinks that Tottenham need to act quickly and just pay Genoa what they are asking for, otherwise Bayern Munich will.

He also insisted that Dragusin will prove to be worth the fee.

“Spurs, just pay what it is asked and get the deal done it will be worth it!” Vega wrote on X.

“Otherwise….Bayern.”

Dragusin also has interest from AC Milan and Napoli, but the Italians are trailing in the chase.
