RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is set to arrive in London this evening to complete the formalities of his loan move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Football London.

 

The former Chelsea forward is on the cusp of sealing a return to England after being a bit part player at Leipzig in the first half of the season.

 

Spurs have a deal in place to sign the striker on loan for the rest of the season with the Bundesliga club.

 

 

 

The agreements have been sorted out and Werner has the green light to travel to England to complete the move.

 

It has been claimed that the German will be arriving in London this evening to complete the loan move.

 

 

Spurs will put him through a medical before he signs the loan contract until the end of the campaign.

 

Ange Postecoglou has been keen to bring in a forward and Leipzig have claimed that the north London club have provided assurances of regular game time.

 

 

Tottenham will also have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the loan stint, if Werner impresses during his spell.
