Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton has hailed Reds loan star Fabio Carvalho for his gritty attitude and professionalism.

Carvalho, who joined Liverpool last season, was sent out on loan to RB Leipzig in the summer but failed to impress for the German outfit.

Liverpool recalled him from his loan spell with Leipzig and he agreed to join Championship outfit Hull City on loan for the rest of the season.

Morton revealed that despite Carvalho and him being the same age, he still learns from the 21-year-old and believes that young players can learn professionalism from the Liverpool loanee.

The Liverpool star also stated that Carvalho is a class player to have around and praised the midfielder for his grit.

“Fab’s class to have around and, even though he’s about my age, he’s still great to learn from”, Morton told the Athletic.

“I hope the young lads here watch him and how professional he is.

“He looks as though he’s been playing in the Premier League all season.

“He’s hit the ground running.

“You can tell he’s got grit between his teeth.”

Carvalho has featured twice for Hull City so far and managed to find the back of the net in Hull’s last game against Sunderland.
