Wycombe Wanderers are poised to sign former Burton Albion attacker Beryly Lubala after his deal with the Brewers expired, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The 26-year-old winger joined Burton Albion on a free transfer in the summer after his contract with Blackpool expired.

Lubala managed to establish himself as a regular in Burton’s starting eleven after joining and made 26 appearances in all competitions.

His performances have drawn attention from Burton’s league rivals Wycombe and the Chairboys are interested in signing him.

Now Lubala is poised to put pen to paper to a contract to move to Wycombe.

The attacker will be looking to hit the ground running at Wycombe and help his new team climb the League One standings.

Wycombe currently sit just one point clear of the trap door in League One.

Lubala’s former club Burton are only one point better off than Wycombe in a congested bottom half of the table.
