Leeds United attacker Joel Piroe believes that his Elland Road team-mate Crysencio Summerville has the potential to become a really big player in the future.

Piroe and Summerville have shared the pitch on 27 occasions in the Championship this season, contributing towards 30 goals for Daniel Farke’s side.

19 of those have come from Summerville’s feet, something that has caught the attention of his senior team-mate.

Piroe insists that he has enjoyed playing with Summerville and believes that the 22-year-old has a bright future ahead of him, particularly given his young age.

“I really enjoy Cry at Leeds, he can become a really big one”, Piroe told Dutch outlet Voetbalzone.

“He is of course very young, but if he continues like this, things can go quickly for him.”

Piroe also believes that aiming for a spot in the Netherlands squad is a realistic ambition for Summerville given his form.

“I think so [he can get into the national team squad].

“He’s been doing great this season, so why not?”

Summerville has featured regularly for Netherlands’ junior teams, starting from the Under-16s and is currently part of their Under-21 squad.
