Former Rangers star Kenny Miller has insisted that the Gers should keep Oscar Cortes beyond the end of his loan stint as he feels he could become a game-changer for the Glasgow giants.

Rangers signed the 20-year-old winger from Lens in the winter transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The Glasgow giants have an option to make the move permanent and Miller is already convinced that Rangers should exercise the purchase option.

Cortes has scored once and registered two assists for Rangers in six appearances so far for the club.

Miller sees a bright future for the Colombian and believes if Rangers decide to keep him, the winger will develop into a game-changing player for the club moving forward.

The former Rangers star said on Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard: “I like Cortes.

“I think Cortes could be a big difference maker for Rangers moving forward if they can keep him at the club beyond this season.”

It is unclear how much money Rangers will have to fork out to turn Cortes’ loan into a permanent deal in the summer.
