Ipswich Town are agitated by the speculation regarding their manager Kieran McKenna, who is being chased by Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United, according to the Independent.

McKenna managed to get Ipswich up to the Premier League this season and has become hugely in demand since the Championship season ended.

Brighton are pursuing him after parting ways with Roberto De Zerbi, but Chelsea and Manchester United are the heavyweights in the chase.

Both clubs have held talks with McKenna’s representatives as they seek to position themselves to scoop him up.

No firm offer has arrived at Ipswich though and the Portman Road side are agitated at the speculation.

Ipswich want to keep hold of McKenna and have been ready to hand him a new contract.

The manager though is not expected to sign fresh terms and it has been claimed that he feels it is the right time to move on.

McKenna, 38, spent time as a coach at Manchester United and the Red Devils will hope that gives them the edge over Brighton and Chelsea in the race.
