Joshua Zirkzee is undergoing a medical at the moment ahead of sealing his move from Bologna to Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United have a deal in place with Bologna for the signature of the Dutch forward for a fee of negotiated fee of €42.5m.

The Premier League giants have also thrashed out personal terms on a contract and agent fees with his representatives.

Zirkzee became free to complete the move to Old Trafford on Wednesday night once the Netherlands lost to England in Dortmund.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, the forward is being put through his paces by Manchester United as part of a medical at the moment.

If there are no issues with the process, Zirkzee is expected to sign a five-year contract with an option of another year with the Red Devils.

Erik ten Hag pushed to sign the Dutchman because of his ability to play different roles in the forward.

Manchester United decided against triggering his €40m release clause in favour of securing a payment structure that would see them stagger the fee over a three-year period.
