Nottingham Forest are close to securing a deal for the signature of Rangers youngster Thompson Ishaka this summer, according to the Daily Record.
Rangers signed the Nigerian from the Brooke House Football Academy last summer and he has been heavily involved in their reserve side.
Ross Wilson played a key role in Rangers snapping up the teenager and now he is pushing to take him to Nottingham Forest.
The Nottingham Forest sporting director has been in talks with Rangers over the possibility of taking Ishaka north of the border.
It has been claimed that the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement for the winger’s transfer.
Forest have been left impressed by Ishaka and are pushing to take him to the City Ground this summer.
They are looking to complete a deal to sign the 19-year-old from Rangers in the coming days.
If the deal goes through, Ishaka is likely to link up with Nottingham Forest’s Under-21s squad before they consider giving him a first-team opportunity.
Ishaka is out of contract at Ibrox at the end of the season.
