Arsenal are anticipating strong interest in Aaron Ramsdale from fellow Premier League clubs before the transfer window closes, according to talkSPORT.

The England international became the second choice for the Gunners after they brought in David Raya from Brentford.

Despite signing a fresh contract last summer Ramsdale’s starting spot has been snatched away by the Spaniard.

Ramsdale played only six league matches last season and he is desperate for first-team football.

Dutch outfit Ajax have shown interest in the Gunners star and Wolves are also talking to the north Londoners about Ramsdale.

Both clubs, though, are looking to persuade Arsenal to let him leave on a loan but Arsenal are holding out for permanent offers.

And it has been suggested that they are anticipating strong interest from Premier League clubs in the dying embers of the transfer window.

Now only time will tell if the 26-year-old Arsenal out-of-favour goalkeeper will be able to find a permanent solution to his situation by the end of this month.
