Liverpool are deciding between Hull City and Middlesbrough as the best loan destination for Ben Doak, according to Sky Sports News.

The Reds are ready to loan the promising forward out to make sure he gets regular game time to speed his development.

A host of Championship sides have gone in with loan approaches for Doak, but the race looks to be down to Hull and Middlesbrough.

Liverpool and Doak are now deciding which destination makes the most sense.

Hull have had stars on loan from Liverpool recently and have given them regular game time.

Both Tyler Morton and Fabio Carvalho were on loan at the Championship side last term.

Middlesbrough and Hull both have ambitions to challenge for promotion to the Premier League and that will be attractive to Doak.

It remains to be seen which of the two clubs get to land Doak, who is rated highly at Anfield.
