Ipswich Town are looking at a raid on the Riverside for Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte-Lath, according to the BBC.

Kieran McKenna has been looking high and low for another striker to bring to Portman Road before the transfer window closes.

Ipswich had been working on a deal to land Armando Broja from Chelsea, but that move collapsed.

Now the Tractor Boys are fishing in the Championship and Middlesbrough Latte-Lath has caught their eye.

Losing Latte-Lath so late in the window would be a big blow for Boro, who have promotion ambitions under Michael Carrick this season.

Ipswich though have Premier League pulling power and Premier League spending power.

The 25-year-old has already got amongst the goals for Middlesbrough this season, striking against Swansea City.

His deal with Boro has another three years left to run and it remains to be seen how much they might want to let him go.
