Middlesbrough are making sure they are keeping hold of Emmanuel Latte-Lath, despite him wanting to move to Ipswich Town, according to Sky Sports News.

Ipswich are on the hunt to add attacking options before the window closes as they look to have enough firepower to stay away from relegation trouble in the Premier League.

They recently made an attempt to take striker Latte-Lath from Middlesbrough.

The plot thickened when the striker did not travel with the Boro squad for their weekend meeting with Cardiff City.

Latte-Lath has been keen to make the move, but Middlesbrough will not play ball.

They are determined that Latte-Lath will not leave the Riverside this summer and they will not sanction an exit.

Whether there is room for a rethink before the window closes remains to be seen.

Ipswich continue to be keen on landing the striker, but Boro are opposed to doing business.
