Everton have completed the signing of highly-rated defender John Stones from Barnsley.
The Toffees have not disclosed the fee that has been paid for the 18-year-old, but it is thought to be around the £3M mark.
Stones has penned a five-and-a-half-year contract at Goodison Park and is delighted to have joined David Moyes’ men.
"I am very excited to be joining Everton. I’ve been very impressed with everything I have seen at Finch Farm already. Now the hard work begins", the right-back told his new club’s official site.
