Young Spanish winger-cum-forward Gerard Deulofeu has revealed that he remains determined to make the grade at Barcelona.

Deulofeu is under contract at the Camp Nou, but has been sent out on loan for the current campaign to English Premier League side Everton in order to gain more first team experience.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez was delighted with the capture of Deulofeu and has only seen his opinion of the winger enhanced over the following months.

But the Barcelona youth product is not looking to make his stay at Goodison Park anything more than a temporary affair.

Speaking to La Xarxa, Deulofeu said: "My goal is to return to Barcelona and to stay for as long as possible."

Deulofeu has long been tipped for the top and has represented Spain through from Under-16 level to Under-21 level.

The winger picked up two European Under-19 Championships with Spain's Under-19s, even being voted the player of the tournament in the 2012 edition.
