Everton left-back Leighton Baines believes that every game is vital at this stage of the season, but insists that his team-mates should not get carried away by one win or loss.

The Toffees face Tottenham later in the day, a match that many believe could be of particular significance for the league standings. While a win here could take Everton four points clear in fifth spot, a loss would deal a blow to their chances of making the top four.

However Baines, who recently signed a new contract with the club, feels that the players should just focus on the job at hand and not get carried away.

“It’s definitely one of the biggest games this season because they are one of the main teams competing for those European spots with us", Baines told Everton TV.
