Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reflected upon his side's 1-1 draw against West Brom this evening, lamenting the fact that they did not "kill the game".

It looked business as usual at the Hawthornes as Mourinho's men took the lead in the Premier League contest through Branislav Ivanovic on the stroke of half-time.

However, Mourinho's men failed to find a second goal and towards the end of the match saw themselves increasingly pegged back by a Baggies' side determined to equalise.

And they did just that as Victor Anichebe beat David Luiz to head the ball home in the 87th minute.

Chelsea now lead by two points at the top of the Premier League table, but second-placed Arsenal and third-placed Manchester City can overtake them with wins tomorrow.

And Chelsea only have themselves to blame, Mourinho feels.

"We were comfortable in the game, maybe too comfortable. We didn't kill the game when we had the chance", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"I was feeling it. I was feeling that we only thing we could do is defend well. We were not strong enough to get out in the last 10 minutes. The game doesn't end until the last whistle and the defensive mistake led to the goal.

"In this moment we have one more point than before. If Arsenal and City win tomorrow they go above us but that is their job. Every game is difficult and every team needs points."
