Arsene Wenger has waved away growing chatter in Spain that he is being lined up to succeed Gerardo Martino at Barcelona in the summer.

The Catalans have slipped from their lofty standards under the Argentine, their game marked by a much lower percentage of possession than enjoyed under Pep Guardiola and Tito Vilanova, while more direct play has also been a feature of life under the Argentine.
