Jose Mourinho believes Paris Saint-Germain got what they deserved against his Chelsea side this evening, as the Portuguese's men booked a Champions League semi-final spot after an away goals victory.

Chelsea lost the first leg 3-1 in Paris and needed to win by at least two goals at Stamford Bridge to head through. They made a positive start as Andre Schurrle scored just past the half hour mark.

Mourinho's men had to work hard for their second, the Chelsea boss throwing on strikers Fernando Torres and Demba Ba; it eventually come late on as Ba guided the ball home with just three minutes left.

The Chelsea boss was understandably delighted post-match, especially because he felt PSG were only interested in defending when they had indicated they would play a normal game.

"I think we did enough in the beginning of the second half to score before but we couldn't", Mourinho told ITV.

"And after that there was the contradiction of what they are and what they were saying yesterday that they want to do – they played pure counter-attack.

"We trained yesterday with the three different systems we used. The players knew what to do.

"I think the team very much deserve it and the team that defend were punished, and the team that gave everything with their heart deserve to go to the semis."
