Jose Mourinho has reassured Chelsea fans that he has no intention of taking over as the new Manchester United manager.

The reigning English champions sacked David Moyes on Tuesday and have started their hunt for a successor to the former Everton boss.

Mourinho has often been linked with taking the job at Old Trafford, but he has strongly declared his loyalty to Chelsea and brushed off any suggestion he might head north.

"I don't know how somebody can think about it", he told a press conference when asked if he might be in the running.
