Chelsea and Liverpool are on red alert after it emerged that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offload Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.

PSG have already agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign David Luiz this summer and are also believed to be in the market to sign a striker.

The Parisians are looking to balance the books by offloading the Argentine duo of Pastore and Lavezzi, according to L’Equipe.

Chelsea are long-term admirers of Lavezzi and might take advantage of the good relations that they have established with PSG after Luiz’s sale to bring the Argentine forward to London this summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s English rivals Liverpool are firm fans of Pastore and with PSG ready to offload the midfielder this summer, the Reds might pounce to sign the 24-year-old.

PSG are looking to receive €20m for each of the Argentines and they will hope that more clubs get into the auction so that they can extract the maximum value possible.
