Besiktas are ready to enter the race to sign Inter Milan target Fernando Torres from Chelsea this summer.
Since arriving in Chelsea in January 2011, Torres has failed to recreate his Liverpool form at the London club.
The Spaniard has scored 45 goals in 172 appearances for the club whereas at Liverpool he hit the back of the net 81 times in 142 appearances.
Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a big name striker this summer and a deal to sign Atletico Madrid hitman Diego Costa is all but agreed.
Inter have kept tabs on the situation in west London and are keen to sign the former Liverpool hitman this summer.

However, Besiktas have entered the race and are ready to tussle with the Italian club for the Spaniard’s signature, according to Turkish daily Fanatik.
Besiktas are confident of signing the Spanish international and believe that they have the financial means to complete the deal.
It remains to be seen whether Torres is willing to move to Turkey after spending most of his career playing in the higher-ranked leagues of Spain and England.
