Chelsea have confirmed that Victor Moses has joined Stoke City on a season-long loan deal.

The Blues agreed to allow Moses to head to the Britannia Stadium earlier this week and he passed a medical with the Potters earlier today.

Moses will spend the entire 2014/15 season on loan with Mark Hughes' men and hope to clock up regular first team football.

The forward spent last term on loan at Liverpool, but slipped down the pecking order at Anfield towards the end of the campaign.

Stoke CEO Tony Scholes has been quick to welcome Moses, telling the club's site: "We are delighted to have secured the services of such an exciting young talent in Victor.

"He will certainly add to our attacking options and from talking to him it's obvious that he's really excited about the prospect of making an impact in the Premier League with Stoke City."

Moses, who turned out for Nigeria in this summer's World Cup, has not been signed in time to feature in Stoke's Premier League opener against Aston Villa.
