Chelsea are very close to securing the signature of Croatian talent Andrej Kramaric, having already reached an agreement with the player himself.

Kramaric was wanted by Juventus, but the Italian champions have been trumped by Chelsea and now expect to lose out on the 23-year-old to Jose Mourinho's men.

According to Sky Italia, Chelsea have already reached an agreement with the striker, via his father, and are now expected to present his current club HNK Rijeka with an official offer sometime today.

Should the Croatian side find Chelsea's offer acceptable, Kramaric will travel to England for a medical ahead of putting pen to paper on a four-year deal, worth around €1.2m per year.

The Blues would then be expected to send Kramaric on loan for the rest of the season, with Vitesse in Holland and Leicester City in the Premier League his potential destinations.

Chelsea are expected to offer around €8m for Kramaric, who has won four senior caps for Croatia.
