Atletico Madrid have confirmed the re-signing of Fernando Torres, who arrives from AC Milan.
Torres recently completed a permanent move from Chelsea to AC Milan and the Italians have now sent him on loan to his boyhood club for the remainder of the current season and the following campaign.
The striker will join Atletico Madrid on 5th January, the day the winter transfer market opens in Italy, although he must still pass a medical with the Spanish champions.
Torres was developed in the youth system at Atletico Madrid and starred for the club before joining Liverpool in 2007.

In his first spell at the Vicente Calderon, Torres scored 91 goals in 244 appearances.
He will be eligible to play in Atletico Madrid's Champions League campaign as AC Milan missed out on the competition for this term.
