Following Chelsea’s fourth round FA Cup exit at the hands of League One outfit Bradford City, manager Jose Mourinho has his eyes firmly trained on tomorrow’s League Cup tie against Liverpool.

The Blues inexplicably let slip a two-goal lead as they shipped four goals to Bradford City and exited the FA Cup after a 4-2 defeat at the hands of a club lying seventh in the third division of English football.

The Portuguese, however, believes they need to close the chapter on Saturday’s defeat and start looking at their next fixture, which is a vital visit from Liverpool.

“The next game is the most important one”, Mourinho told the club site.

“At the end of May, beginning of June, we don't go to Wembley to play the FA Cup final, that’s for sure. The FA Cup is finished for us. We don't go there even to play the FA Cup semi-final. It's over for us”, he explained.

However, the manager added that they can still make it to Wembley if they defeat tomorrow’s opponents Liverpool and qualify for the League Cup final as a result.

“To go there – and I think that should mean a lot to everyone – the last chance we have is this one, to play there in the Capital One Cup final.

“We need to forget this one [Bradford] and start the next game in a different competition, and I know we are one victory away from playing a final”, the Portuguese concluded.

Chelsea, who drew the first leg of their League Cup semi-final tie 1-1 against Liverpool at Anfield, will host the reverse fixture Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.
