Former Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk is convinced that Jordy Clasie is ready for the step up to one of the best clubs in world football.
Clasie has continued developing at pace with Feyenoord this season and Van Marwijk is impressed by how many strings the young midfielder has added to his bow.
The 62-year-old told Voetbal International: "He sees solutions, has depth to his game and the ability to put the ball where he wants.
"But he has added that indomitable will increasingly to his game. That makes for a strong combination and I think he'll leave after this season. He's ready for it."
As to where Clasie might end up, Van Marwijk is unsure, but he is certain that the midfielder could easily hold down a spot at some of the biggest club sides in European football.

"It doesn't matter [where he ends up]. Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid….he steps onto the pitch and just wants to win."
Clasie is a product of Feyenoord's esteemed youth system and already on the radar at Southampton, where his former coach Ronald Koeman is now in charge.
Koeman admitted earlier this week: "I am very fond of him.
"He is on our list."
Clasie has so far won eleven caps at international level for the Netherlands, while he has been a first team regular for Feyenoord's first team for four seasons, making over 100 Eredivisie appearances for the Rotterdam club.
