Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted at a possible summer move for FC Porto forward Jackson Martinez after he lavished praise on the Colombian marksman.
Martinez, who joined Porto in the summer of 2012, has been enjoying a stellar year having scored 16 goals and assisted a further four in his 20 league appearances this season so far.
The Colombia international recently expressed his desire to leave the Dragons at the end of the season after insisting that he has won all there is to win in the Portuguese league.
There is no dearth of suitors for the skilful striker, who had Manchester United scouts watching him at a Portuguese Primeira Liga game between Moreirense and Porto recently. The striker did his chances no harm by finding the back of the net in a 2-0 win.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool have been also been linked with a potential move for the 28-year-old. And Wenger has hinted that his Arsenal team can be added to the list.
