Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud feels that in the presence of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez, the Gunners' attack has become quicker and is less predictable.

The Gunners signed Sanchez and Welbeck in the summer to compliment the Frenchman in attack and the trio have formed a fearsome forward line this season.

Arsenal have scored 49 goals this season in the league and are only behind Chelsea and Manchester City, who have both scored 56 goals, in the scoring charts.

Giroud admits that he is enjoying linking up with Welbeck and Sanchez at the Emirates this season and feels that their presence has made a difference as the Gunners are a much more unpredictable side in attack in the current campaign than they were in the last few years.

“There is more speed, precision and it is less predictable”, the Frenchman told L’Equipe.

“There are also different options as Welbeck likes to get into the channels and Alexis can make the difference when he is on the ball.”

The forward reserved special praise for Sanchez and said the Chilean’s energetic personality is contagious at the club and he has the ability to lift the spirit of the team with his aggression and never-ending energy supply.

“He brings a passion and personality that we don’t have”, the Frenchman said.

“He is like a Duracell battery, he never stops. His aggressiveness is contagious.”
