Inter have decided they will make no attempt to keep Lukas Podolski on a permanent basis in the summer, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.
Roberto Mancini's men snapped up Podolski from Arsenal in the winter transfer window on loan until the end of the season, the German arriving frustrated at a lack of regular first team football in England.
However, while he has been handed chances to impress by Mancini, Podolski has yet to catch fire in Serie A and Inter have already made up their mind about the German.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri will look elsewhere in the summer and allow Podolski to return to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side.
Top of Inter's list is now Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez, who has himself become frustrated at being on the fringes of the side at the Camp Nou.
