Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini feels it will be hard to convince Arsene Wenger to allow Wojciech Szczesny to stay at the Stadio Olimpico beyond next summer.
The Polish goalkeeper joined Roma this summer on a loan deal, after it became clear that he was behind Petr Cech and David Ospina in the pecking order at Arsenal.
However, the player has revealed that he would rejoin the Gunners if they want him to at the end of the season, when his loan deal with the Giallorossi expires.
Szczesny is the first choice goalkeeper at Roma this season and has played key role in the club being just a point off league leaders Fiorentina in the Serie A table.
Roma are desperate to hold on to the goalkeeper beyond his loan period, but Sabatini has admitted that it will be difficult to convince Wenger to allow the Pole to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
