Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed that he is benefitting from having the support of fellow injured team-mates Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky.

The 23-year-old is yet to play for the Gunners this season after suffering a hairline fracture to his left fibula at the end of pre-season in August.

The England international is currently working hard to become fully fit alongside Welbeck and Rosicky, who are also out on the sidelines due to long-term injuries.

And Wilshere insisted that going through the rehabilitation process with the duo is helping in his recovery.

“We all know it’s difficult and just being around other people helps”, he told the club’s official site.

“At the moment it’s me, Danny and Tomas because we’re the only ones with long-term injuries. Just being around other people, speaking to them and having a bit of banter with them helps as well."

Wilshere, who also missed a big part of last season with injuries, explained that he is focused on returning to action and getting back in Arsenal’s first team during the business-end of the season.

“We’re still early in the season and the busiest part of the season is coming up. I want to be part of this team and I proved last season that I can get back and fight for a place”, he added.

“I know it’s not going to be easy but that’s what I want to do.”

Wilshere, whose present deal with Arsenal is due to expire in 2018, has thus far made 154 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 12 times.
