Chelsea have no plans to sell their underperforming star Eden Hazard this summer, and the player himself is unwilling to push for a transfer, it has been claimed.

Last season’s Player of the Year, the Belgian winger’s form has mirrored Chelsea’s downward spiral this season, and Hazard is yet to find the back of the net for his side in the league this term.

His only two goals came in the FA Cup, and he has been facing some heavy criticism for his performances, including for his underwhelming showing against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this week.

There has been speculation that Hazard could part ways with Chelsea in the summer, with Real Madrid and PSG believed to be keeping an eye on him, but it seems a transfer might not take place.

According to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, the Blues are unwilling to sell the 25-year-old winger any time soon, and even the player himself is not ready to push for a transfer away from west London.

Chelsea are set to appoint a new manager in the summer, and the club are keen to see Hazard knuckle down and get back to his best under the tutelage of a new coach at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is currently nursing a groin injury, and is uncertain to feature in Chelsea’s FA Cup clash against Everton tomorrow at Goodison Park.
