Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Loic Remy from Chelsea.

The France international striker is joining the Eagles on a season-long loan as he looks to enjoy regular first team football this season.

Remy has found nailing down a spot in the Chelsea side to be a tough ask and is now reuniting with Alan Pardew, who he played under at Newcastle United, by moving to Palace.

The Frenchman will look to strike up a productive partnership with Christian Benteke, who joined Palace earlier this summer in a big-money move from Liverpool.

Remy, 29, moved to England to move QPR in the 2013/14 campaign, but could not help the Loftus Road club avoid relegation and was loaned to Newcastle for the following season.

He joined Chelsea in 2014, but made just 27 appearances for the Blues in his first campaign at the club, followed by just 20 last term, with only three goals scored.

Palace are still looking for their first win of the Premier League season and will be counting on Remy to hand them a boost.
