Chelsea legend Tommy Langley believes Liverpool are vulnerable at the back, though he does concede the Reds' attack can hurt teams if given time and space.

Antonio Conte's Chelsea are due to host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League clash this coming Friday night and Langley sees opportunities aplenty for the Blues to fill their boots, especially if Simon Mignolet is between the sticks for the Reds.

Liverpool thrashed Premier League champions Leicester City 4-1 at Anfield on Saturday, however the Reds have continued to concede goals, even resorting to fielding midfielder James Milner as a left-back.

Jurgen Klopp's men have not kept a clean sheet in the Premier League this season and Langley, though wary of Liverpool's attack, sees an opportunity to get at the Reds.

"I'm convinced by them up front, I think they are lively and have some good players", Langley said on Chelsea TV.

"I think if you give their good players time on the ball they will hurt you.

"At the back, I think you can get past their defenders, I think you can expose their centre-backs and I don't fancy the goalkeeper."

However, Langley is anticipating a tough game for the Blues as they look to measure their progress under Conte and added: "It's a fantastic test for us."

Chelsea played out a 2-2 draw away at Swansea City on Sunday, losing their 100 per cent record in the Premier League.
