Roma are prepared to offer Radja Nainggolan a new deal to keep him from leaving the club in the summer, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

The Belgian international, who was linked with a move to Chelsea last summer, is contracted with Roma until 2020.

Although Nainggolan stayed put at Roma, it has been claimed recently that the Blues could rekindle their interest in the midfielder.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly keeping tabs on the 28-year-old.

And in order to keep his suitors at bay, Roma want Nainggolan to sign a new deal with the club.

In the proposed new contract, the duration of his proposed deal will remain the same, but Nainggolan will have a better pay-package.

The player’s representatives want Roma to offer €4m per year to Nainggolan, but a deal is yet to be reached; the Giallorossi are willing to pay close to that amount, but with bonuses included.

Nainggolan has thus far made 28 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven times and providing an assist.
