Liverpool have joined Chelsea and Manchester United in showing interest in Inter midfielder Ivan Perisic, as the pressure grows on Jurgen Klopp to dip into the transfer market.

Klopp's men have now not won since the start of 2017 in the Premier League and, following a home defeat against Swansea City on Saturday, could be ten points off league leaders Chelsea by the end of today.




Liverpool made a profit on their dealings in  the summer transfer window and Reds fans are keen for Klopp to strengthen a squad which often sees him having to resort to putting youngsters on the bench.

Now, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Reds have joined the race for Inter star Perisic.
 


The Croatia international is already being monitored by Chelsea and Manchester United, and can now add Liverpool to his list of admirers.

The midfielder has been in good form for Inter in the current campaign and has made a total of 24 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri this season, with seven goals and four assists to his name.

Liverpool raided Inter in the winter transfer window in 2013 for Philippe Coutinho, who has been a sensation at Anfield.

Now the Reds could consider forking out a substantial fee to take Perisic, a player Klopp knows well from his time in the Bundesliga at Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund, to Anfield.
