Chelsea linked midfielder Corentin Tolisso is set to undergo a medical with Bayern Munich later today after the club agreed a fee with Lyon for signature.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has been expected to leave Lyon this summer and did manage to attract the interest of a few top clubs, such as Italian champions Juventus.




Chelsea also showed interest in the midfielder and did talk with Lyon over the possibility of signing him, but Bayern Munich are close to securing his signature this summer.

The German champions have moved quickly to make sure Tolisso packs his bags for Bavaria and have agreed a fee worth €40m with Lyon ahead of signing the Frenchman.
 


And according to German daily Bild, Tolisso will travel to Munich later today to undergo a medical ahead of finalising his transfer to the German champions.
