Chelsea and Manchester United are watching developments regarding Borussia Dortmund talent Ousmane Dembele closely and could make a move for him this summer.

Dembele is wanted by Barcelona, who have been pushing hard to take him to the Camp Nou this summer.

The Catalan giants have reportedly spoken to Dembele's agent over a deal, but have been warned off by Dortmund, who insist they will not sell the 20-year-old forward this summer.

Barcelona are not the only club keen on Dembele though as, according to Eurosport France, both Chelsea and Manchester United have been tracking the Frenchman for some time.

Chelsea and Manchester United could both choose to make an offer for Dembele, however like Barcelona they will have to deal with a Dortmund side unwilling to sell.

It has been claimed an offer of a whopping €80m could convince Dortmund to reluctantly allow Dembele to leave, though there are question marks over how happy he is following the departure of Thomas Tuchel, something which may influence the German side in the direction of selling.

Dembele made 49 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund last season, scoring ten goals and providing an impressive 21 assists for his team-mates.

He is locked down on a contract with the Ruhr giants until 2021.
