After three defeats on the trot, Frank Lampard’s Everton team turned their form around with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The three points pushed Everton up to 12th in the Premier League standings and provided them a cushion over teams struggling in the relegation zone at the moment.

Coady insisted that the Everton squad are enjoying themselves and are getting better with each passing day working under the management of Lampard.

He stressed that the focus is on improvements and that Everton do not want any extra pressure of wanting a certain league finish this season.

The Everton defender believes everyone at the club is now pulling in one direction and there is a feeling that the team are getting stronger in a gradual process.

Coady said on talkSPORT: “We are enjoying working every single day.

“We are trying to get stronger, we are trying to get better and we are listening to the manager every day.

“There is so much focus in terms of we want to improve and we want to be better.

“It will be silly of us to sit here and analyse what we want to finish here and there and put unwanted pressure on ourselves.

“We want to do is improve and get better.

“The focus between the gaffer and the staff, the people at Finch Farm and people around Everton is all in the same direction.

“We are getting stronger as a team, we are feeling stronger and we need to keep doing that moving forward.”

Everton will look to keep their form going when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham next Saturday.
