After moving to Newcastle last month, Kuol was loaned out to Scottish Premiership side Hearts until the end of the current season.
The Australian star spent the first half of the season playing in his native country for the Central Coast Mariners and only after a short time after arriving at Newcastle was packing his bags again as he moved to Hearts.
Kuol admitted that the standard of play is much higher in Scotland than that in Australia but he feels good at Hearts because of the support he receives from his parent club.
Speaking to the Edinburgh Evening News, Kuol said: “The level of players here are better, my team-mates are better.
“It’s really good and I’m loving it.
“The boys are all a good bunch of guys.
“They are all supporting me and there is good camaraderie.”
The attacker revealed that Newcastle often contact him and keep an eye on what he is doing, which encourages him.
“Yeah, of course”, Kuol added about Newcastle watching him.
“You get contact from the guys down there saying “good luck” and stuff like that.
“It’s good and encouraging that they are keeping an eye on what I’m doing.”
Kuol has so far made only one start for the Scottish side and has failed to score or assist a goal, which he will be looking to accomplish soon.
