Tapsoba made 47 appearances for Leverkusen last season in all competitions and helped his team reach the semi-final of the Europa League.
His performances last season have attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with the north London side in the market to strengthen their defensive options.
And it has been claimed that Spurs have asked the German outfit to keep them informed about Tapsoba’s situation.
Tapsoba has two more years left on his contract and Tottenham are exploring the conditions of the deal.
It has been suggested that the Burkina Faso international is keen on a move to north London this summer.
Tottenham have yet to submit a bid for Tapsoba and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to agree a deal with Leverkusen.
