A host of players had no intention of playing in the second division of English football and moved on from the Elland Road outfit this summer.

Spanish central midfielder Roca is one of them and he joined La Liga outfit Real Betis on a season-long loan deal.

Los Verdiblancos however, tried to sign the former Bayern Munich man on a permanent deal before the loan move materialised.

Now according to Spanish outlet BeSoccerBetis, the La Liga outfit are planning to discuss one more loan deal for Roca if the Elland Road outfit stay in the Championship at the end of the current campaign.

A clause in his deal means he does not have to play in the Championship if he can find a club to pay his wages and Betis could do that once again or even look for a permanent deal.

Roca has started all three matches this season for Manuel Pellegrini’s team in the defensive midfield role.

He joined the Whites only last summer from Bayern Munich and played 32 times in the Premier League, but could not help the club avoid relegation.

Leeds want to book an instant return to the Premier League, but even if they do, it remains to be seen how many of their loaned out stars will return.
