Charlton Athletic have reignited their interest in Peterborough United forward Jonson Clarke-Harris ahead of the January transfer window, according to the South London Press.
The League One club are keen to bring in more attacking options to lighten the load on top-scorer Alfie May in the latter half of the season.
Clarke-Harris was on their radar in the summer as well but they decided against making an offer for him.
However, ahead of the winter window, the Addicks have again pushed forward their interest in signing the Posh forward.
It has been claimed that Charlton have enquired about the possibility of signing the striker in January.
Clarke-Harris is set to enter the final six months of his contract and January is the last chance for Peterborough to get a fee for him.
He is a proven goalscorer at the level, scoring 102 goals in 261 League One appearances and was nominated as the Player of the Season in the last campaign for scoring 26 times for Peterborough.
The forward was close to joining Bristol Rovers last summer before the move collapsed on deadline day.
Several other League One clubs and League Two high-fliers Wrexham are also interested in Clarke-Harris.
