Fixture: Celtic vs Rangers
Competition: Scottish Premiership
Kick-off: 12:30 UK time

Celtic have revealed their side to welcome Glasgow rivals Rangers to Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon for what could be a pivotal clash.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have stumbled in recent weeks, something which has allowed Rangers an opportunity to close the gap, but Celtic can take a big step towards undoing their poor form by claiming all three points today.

The champions must do so without key defender Cameron Carter-Vickers though, in what is a big blow.

The meeting between the two sides in September, at Ibrox, saw Celtic run out 1-0 winners, while Rangers have not won at Celtic Park since 2020.

Joe Hart slots into goal for Celtic this afternoon, while at the back Rodgers picks a four of Alistair Johnston, Stephen Welsh, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor.

Midfield sees Celtic deploy Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley and Paulo Bernardo, while Daizen Maeda and Luis Palma support Kyogo Furuhashi.

If Rodgers needs to shake things up then he has a host of options on the bench and they include Liel Abada and Reo Hatate.
